Our Portrait Process

Our goal is to capture the best and most natural representation of you as possible. For that, you need to be comfortable in front of the camera. Guess what? That’s our job! We need to make you comfortable; you just need to be you. If this sounds easier said than done, here is how we do it: We’re a team, we talk, communicate, develop rapport, and engage in meaningful conversation. We walk you through the process, either before the session or during. There is no script and it’s not a formal business transaction, and if you have some ideas, please share! We try different things until we find what works and makes you comfortable; and we show you the work along the way so you can get a sense of how things look, and you get a chance to chime in if you want to.

We strive to capture emotions and moments in time that convey reality. By using true colors with contrast that take advantage of light and shadows, we hope to replicate the visual impact we get from life with our own eyes.

Every now and then I like to work on my portrait skills or try new equipment, so I’m offering a limited number of free portrait sessions in exchange for your time modeling. You’ll get full details be email after booking or contact me with questions. I’m offering two morning sessions on Thursday mornings at 10 and 11 until the end of June. IF there are no dates available, please message me to be added to the waiting list.
